Jessica Wishard

Jessica Wishard, a dedicated parent with a lifetime of speed skating and roller derby experience, serves as Vice President on the MARS Board of Directors (BOD). With countless years of committed involvement as a derby parent, she brings a deep understanding of the unique challenges and joys of junior roller derby, making her an invaluable member of the leadership team.

Jessica plays a hands-on role in the league’s operations, serving as an experienced Non-Skating Official (NSO), supporting medical staff activities, and assisting with team management and event coordination. Her active involvement ensures that skaters, families, and coaches have the guidance and resources they need to thrive.

Her leadership, expertise, and dedication to nurturing young athletes make Jessica a cornerstone of MARS, contributing significantly to the growth, success, and positive culture of the league.

Kat Fikar

Kat Fikar, an experienced and committed derby parent with countless years of involvement in the roller derby community, serves as Vice President on the MARS Board of Directors (BOD). With extensive experience as a Non-Skating Official (NSO) and hands-on roles in bout production and fundraising, she brings invaluable insight and leadership to supporting skaters, families, and league operations.

Kat’s expertise, leadership, and active involvement make her a trusted member of the BOD, helping guide the league’s growth, ensure smooth operations, and foster a positive and supportive environment for all junior derby athletes. She is a cornerstone of MARS leadership and a key contributor to the league’s continued success.

Lauren Ducharme

Lauren Ducharme, a dedicated derby parent with over eight years of derby mom experience, served as Parent Representative in 2023–2024 and Secretary for the 2024–2025 season. She continues to play vital roles as Secretary, Team Manager, MARS Social Media and Website Manager. Her extensive involvement as a derby parent, combined with her work on the league’s medical staff, has made her a cornerstone of MARS operations.

Lauren’s expertise, leadership, and strong commitment to supporting skaters, families, and the league make her an invaluable asset and a foundation for the continued success of MARS.

Jennifer Humphries

Jennifer Humphries, a passionate derby mom, serves as Treasurer on the MARS Board of Directors (BOD). With years of experience both as a parent and as an experienced Non-Skating Official (NSO), she brings a deep understanding of junior roller derby and the needs of skaters and families.

Jennifer’s expertise in league operations, financial management, and her hands-on involvement with teams make her a trusted leader and a key asset to the BOD. Her commitment, knowledge, and supportive approach contribute significantly to the continued success and stability of MARS.
